He has developed a deep understanding of key Customs programs, including Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), and the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). His expertise in complex HTSUS classification—particularly in watches, textiles, and machinery—has made him a trusted advisor in the industry, enabling clients to navigate the intricacies of tariff classification with confidence.

In addition to his classification expertise, Brad has honed his skills through hands-on experience with various government agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). His knowledge of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) adds further depth to his capabilities, particularly for clients engaged in the trade of regulated products.

He began his career at UPS Supply Chain Solutions (formerly Fritz Companies) as a release clerk on the northern border. Before joining Braumiller Consulting, Brad served as the Director of Trade Compliance and International Logistics at Fossil. In this capacity, he further expanded his expertise in critical areas such as importer/exporter policies, broker management, carrier management, contract negotiations, and transportation network design. His ability to navigate the complexities of these functions has been vital in ensuring seamless operations and compliance for the organizations he has worked with.
